Until recently CVSIC was the voluntary sector infrastructure consortium for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. CVSIC now only covers the County of Cambridgeshire. . As a result, although CVSIC is the voluntary sector infrastructure consortium for both areas, Peterborough hosts its own sub-group, known as the Peterborough Infrastructure Group. Equally, although CVSIC has developed a strategy for both Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, the Peterborough Infrastructure Group has developed its own strategy, which seeks to address the particular needs of the voluntary sector in Peterborough.
