This is a one year contract with an option to extension for a further year for the provisions of a Self Advocacy Support Service for People with Learning Disability. And will be let in the summer of 2012. LB Hounslow is seeking to develop a walking and cycling health referral programme in conjunction with NHS Hounslow. This programme will be the key method for promoting active travel to those who come into contact with health services. We will require cycle provider support to implement the cycle related elements of the project, for example one on one cycle training with patients, organising led rides, and cycle maintenance sessions. The contract will be a one year contract, with the possibility to extend for a year on a rolling basis. (1+1+1+1). The anticipated value of the Services for London Borough of Hounslow is approximately £30,000 in the first year, and expected to be repeated in the second year

Wiltshire Council is inviting expressions of interest from providers of personalised learning services to become an accredited provider and join a register of accredited providers from whom schools and school federations are able to purchase packages of service provision for individual students and groups of students. It is possible that in certain circumstances some budget holders within the Council may also wish to purchase personalised learning services from the register of accredited providers.

As part of a DfE alternative provision trial which will run until July 2014 the Council will from 1st September 2012 delegate to schools the responsibility for the education of permanently excluded students and for those at risk of being excluded, whilst retaining responsibility for students’ wellbeing.

CVSIC works to make sure that voluntary organisations and community groups in Cambridgeshire can access the support and services they need to achieve their aims.

 

CVSIC brings together voluntary sector organisations that offer information, advice and assistance to other voluntary organisations and community groups in the county. It also works to increase the influence that the sector has in how public services are run. As well as the county-wide consortium, there is a Peterborough sub-group which focuses on this specific area.

 

CVSIC is working together throughout Cambridgeshire to support effective and inspired voluntary and community action.
